The JSCPA is a professional organization of certified pension actuaries, a juridical person for public interest, which conducts various activities that contribute to sound and efficient management and further development of corporate pension plans, by striving to enhance skill levels and uphold integrity of the profession. Such activities include submission of proposals and comments to or work with influential bodies, such as the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the ASBJ, the IASB and the IAA, establishment of the code of professional conduct, actuarial standards of practice and the CPD program, promoting researches and hosting seminars.
